I am rather curious as to what would make the performance significantly better by being somewhere in Europe than, say, Glacier National Park; Boston, Massachusetts; or Vancouver, British Columbia.

for some reason the people in Salzburg mixed some German into the English part of the Homepage. To make it easier for none German speaker: the play the requiem exactly 215 years after he died as part of the "Mozart Year" (2006 is the Mozart Year because he would be 250 years old next year). They also perform every single of his operas next year in Salzburg (and 100s concerts in Vienna, Prague, everywhere in and around Austria). So if you feel like Mozart in Europe, next year is the best possibility in your life.

In case you have no idea who I am (my fucked up English should make it easy to guess) - Georg, the guy Julie is always writing about in her livejournal
